It is not conventional security training, although it is designed to complement established security practices. I focus on biblical discernment, risk posture, risk capacity, decision-making under uncertainty, and organizational risk culture. The content is explicitly Christian and draws on the life and teaching of Jesus as well as the practice of the early church, while also using practical risk-management tools. The training is not a security audit, crisis-response service, investigation, or substitute for specialist legal, medical, or security advice.

You do not need previous risk-management experience. The learning opportunities are designed for Christian workers and leaders, people serving in risky or cross-cultural environments, security, crisis-management, member-care and personnel staff, sending churches, and Christian organizations. They can be helpful wherever you are navigating uncertainty, calling, responsibility, or different attitudes toward risk—not only in highly dangerous countries. Training is offered in English and German, although each scheduled event may be available in only one language.

If biblical risk management is new to you, begin with Intro to Biblical Risk Management to understand the biblical foundation and the Risk Response Matrix. Choose How to Risk Well when you want to apply the framework to your own risk posture, capacity, decisions, and shared culture. Leading Well Through Risk is the one-on-one pathway for leaders who want to develop their leadership practice over twelve sessions within a year. If your need involves a church, leadership team, or organization, I can instead develop a tailored in-person format around your context.

Yes. Your organization may pay for any workshop or learning pathway, and the invoice can be addressed to the organization. I can also develop tailored, in-person training for a team, church, or organization as a half-day introduction, full-day workshop, multi-day program, leadership retreat, or facilitated process. Sponsorship does not remove personal confidentiality: coaching conversations, assessment results, and personal development work are not shared with a sponsoring organization unless the participant explicitly agrees. General development goals or an agreed concluding conversation can be arranged in advance with the participant’s involvement.

Payment is made by invoice once your place or engagement has been confirmed. You may pay through PayPal in US dollars or euros, or by bank transfer in euros. The invoice states the currency, payment deadline, and complete instructions; for a bank transfer, use Falk Scissek as the account holder and include the invoice number as the reference. PayPal merchant fees are covered by the Biblical Risk Academy, while fees charged by your own bank or payment provider remain your responsibility. Any refund due under the applicable cancellation terms will normally be returned through the original payment method and in the currency in which you paid.

Yes. If you continue from Intro to Biblical Risk Management into a How to Risk Well series beginning within 24 months, your complete introductory-workshop fee is credited toward the series. If you registered and paid for How to Risk Well within the previous 24 months and continue into Leading Well Through Risk, the amount you actually paid is credited toward the first installment. The credit is personal to the participant and cannot be combined with another discount.

Group workshops and programs are confirmed once the stated minimum number of participants has been reached. If that does not happen, the event is canceled, no invoice is issued, and I can let you know about the next opportunity in the same format.

For the introductory workshop, you receive a full refund when canceling at least seven days beforehand; after that, the fee is non-refundable, but you may transfer your place to another person.

For How to Risk Well, cancellation at least 14 days before the start receives a full refund, cancellation 7–13 days beforehand receives a 50% refund, and later cancellation is non-refundable; a substitute participant may be named before the program begins. Missed group sessions are not refunded or recorded, but you still receive the corresponding learning resources.

Individual Leading Well Through Risk sessions may be rescheduled without cost with at least 24 hours’ notice; later cancellations normally count as delivered, with possible exceptions for emergencies.

If I cancel an offer or cannot continue a program, fees for services not delivered are refunded.
